XAT'SULL FIRST NATION (A.K.A. SODA CREEK BAND) |

| The Xat'sull First Nations have a registered population of approximately 300 people with an increasing off-reserve urban base. The band office resides in Deep Creek and is approximately 25 kilometres north of Williams Lake. The old Soda Creek reserve is an additional 10 kilometres north, off the road where the old restaurant still stands. |

| Soda Creek is the most northern Shuswap band in British Columbia. It is the site of the stunning Xat’sull Heritage Village Site located downhill from the Soda Creek reserve. Tours are available for this beautiful site located adjacent to the Fraser River. Soda Creek is also host to the Whispring Willows Campsite, which is located on the Deep Creek reserve. The Xat’sull First Nations people are active hunters and salmon fishermen. The Xat’sull people hold powwows annually. | |||
